Frequently asked

Everything you need to know before you lace up - how the live walks work, what you need, and how membership runs.
Getting started
What is Lo's Walkie Talkie? +
It is a live, hosted virtual walking group. Lo guides real-time walking sessions on camera while members walk along from home - on a treadmill, walking pad, or safe walking setup. You get the accountability of a class and the warmth of a community, without a gym or a commute.
Who is it for? +
Women who want to move more and actually stick with it. Whether you are just getting back into a routine or already walk daily, every session meets you where you are - you set your own pace.
Do I need to be fit to join? +
Not at all. Walking is the most beginner-friendly way to move, and you control your own speed and incline the whole time. Lo sets the energy and the plan; you do what feels good for your body.
How do I get started? +
Fill out the short questionnaire so Lo can learn your goals and starting point. Your first Walkie Talkie session is included before your membership begins.
The live sessions
Are the sessions live or recorded? +
Walkie Talkies are live. Lo hosts in real time, which is the whole point - you are walking together, right now, with Lo and the rest of the crew. If you miss a session, contact us to ask whether that day's recording is available.
How long is a session? +
Regular live Walkie Talkie sessions run from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM Mountain Time. Each session gives you time to warm up, walk, cool down, and connect with the group.
When do sessions happen? +
The launch schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM Mountain Time. Once you are a member, your upcoming session times show up in your account, and we send reminders so you never miss one.
How do I join a live walk? +
Log in to your member account a few minutes before start time and press join. The session opens right in your browser - no extra app to download.
Do I have to be on camera? +
Yes. Plan to join camera-ready. Seeing each other is part of the live group accountability and connection. If you need privacy for a moment, you can step away and come back.
What if I miss a session? +
Contact us to ask whether that day's recording is available. There is also another live walk coming up on the schedule, so you can hop into the next one that fits your week.
Equipment & tech
Do I need a treadmill or walking pad? +
Yes. You need a treadmill, walking pad, or walking device you can use safely during the live session while staying visible on camera.
What equipment do I need? +
A camera-ready phone, tablet, or laptop, a steady internet connection, comfortable shoes, and a treadmill, walking pad, or walking device. Set your device where you can see Lo and Lo can see you.
Does it work on my phone? +
Yes. Everything runs in your phone's browser, so you can join a walk from home. Prop your phone where it is stable, where you can see the group, and where your camera has a clear view.
Membership & billing
How much does it cost? +
Right now, membership is $29 per month for new members who join before July 15, 2026. After that, new memberships are $39 per month. Your first Walkie Talkie session is included, so you can experience the group before your membership begins.
How do I pay? +
Membership is billed securely by card through Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. There is no contract - you can cancel whenever you like right from your member account, and you will keep access through the end of your current billing period.
What is the free first session? +
Your first live Walkie Talkie is included. Join the group and see how it feels to walk with the crew before your membership begins.
How do I log in? +
No passwords to remember. Head to the member login, enter your email, and we send you a one-time code to sign in.
Privacy & support
Is my information private? +
Yes. The details you share at sign up are used only to welcome you in and tailor your sessions. We do not sell your information.
Should I check with my doctor first? +
Lo's Walkie Talkie is a walking community, not medical advice. If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury, or managing a health condition, check with your doctor before starting any new activity, and always move at a pace that feels safe for you.
How do I get help? +
We are happy to help with anything - joining, billing, or tech. Reach out and a real person will get back to you.
